Levine, MD, MPH, to offer medical advice and
personal weight loss insight as part of the

Dr. Levine is an Associate Professor in the
Departments of Family Medicine and Obstetrics,
Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the UMDNJ-Robert
Wood Johnson Medical School. He is also the Director
of Women's Health Programs in the Department of
Family Medicine.
Dr. Levine has been very active in women's health
research and obesity prevention education and will
be a valuable resource to CalorieKing in dealing
specifically with women's weight management. He has
participated in over forty clinical trials as both a
principal and co-investigator studying various
products for contraception and menopausal symptoms -
female issues that can impact and affect weight
management efforts.
Dr. Levine's interest in weight management and

professional and personal. In 2005, he took a bold
step to improve his personal health and to inspire
other family physicians and patients by becoming a
participant in the second season television
production of NBC's "The Biggest Loser", a
weight-loss reality series. Dr. Levine lost a total
of 183 pounds and regained his health.

numerous women's health related articles, monographs
and book chapters. Dr. Levine also devotes much of
his time to teaching students, residents and
fellows, all of which have lead up to his recent
selection as a UMDNJ Master Educator in recognition
of his outstanding contributions to medical
education.
